Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant

    Job Summary:
  • The Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant is responsible for successfully supporting and implementing SAP FI/CO functionality. The individual in this role should be an excellent communicator. They will assist clients in the selection, planning, fit analysis, configuration, testing, rollout, and post-implementation support of SAP FI/CO solutions. The consultant will also be involved in improving operational metrics & business case development. He/she will provide functional knowledge and manage client relationships within context of individual role. They use in-depth consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into the clients' business environment in order to achieve client expected business results.

    Summary of essential job functions:
  • Participate in client meetings, interviews and workshops focused on collecting business requirements
  • Analyze and map client's finance and accounting processes to SAP Functionality
  • Troubleshoot, investigate, analyze, and solve configuration issues
  • Analyze company business processes and their requirements for system support
  • Create clear and concise documentation describing requirements and agreed processes
  • Estimate development and configuration work to fulfill the agreed requirements
  • Assisting in the integration of technical and application components to meet business requirements
  • Must be willing to travel as needed, estimated at 50% or less
  • ABAP experience, familiarity with FI/CO technical objects a plus.
    Minimum requirements:
  • 4 year degree, in Finance/Accounting or Business Management, or Information Technology.
  • Minimum of 5 years SAP FI/CO experience, with much of it being hands-on configuration experience. At least one full “life cycle” SAP implementation in an FI/CO role.
  • Must have solid understanding of accounting and financial processes in a corporate environment.
