Functional Maintenance Services
All functional maintenance regarding the current configuration is included in the AMO support model. This includes performing full maintenance of:
- Existing Payroll Configuration (e.g. Tax Tables, Rules, Schema, Table Configuration, Wage Types)
- Existing Time Management Configuration (e.g. Time Rules, Schema, Time Types, Work Schedules)
- Existing Benefits Configuration (e.g. Benefit Plan Eligibility, Rates)
- Existing Personnel Administration Configuration (e.g. Master Data, Dynamic Actions, Personnel Actions)
- Existing Organizational Management Configuration
- Existing Talent Management (E-Recruiting, Performance Mgt) Configuration
- ESS/MSS
Technical Maintenance Services
Whitaker-Taylor will maintain all current reports, interfaces, corrections, enhancements and forms. The maintenance of these ‘RICEF activities’ includes:
- Correction of all syntax-errors
- Resolving issues in program logic and performance (eg. Speed)
- Resolving problems related to the setup of the program e.g. possible overflows, SQL errors…
- Resolving file format problems
- Resolving integration problems with other systems/applications
Corrective Maintenance
More than all other modules in SAP, the SAP HCM module is a dynamic system requiring frequent tax and patch updates. There are occasions where issues with SAP delivered functionality or programming bugs are found. The Whitaker-Taylor team will work with the appropriate client Basis team members to reach resolution, including taking the following actions:
- Identifying OSS-notes as required
OSS-notes are corrections, patches to the SAP R/3 system, which correct a specific problem. The Whitaker-Taylor AMO team will identify and recommend application of OSS-notes as needed to resolved production issues.
- Testing of the HR Support Packages (HRSP)
Working with the client end-users, we will assist with the testing of the HR Support Packages. Whitaker-Taylor will also provide guidance for when to apply special notes and/or HRSPs linked to year-end processing and tax reporting.
